Frequently Asked Questions
We’re sure there are a few questions you still have before you schedule an appointment at Lakewood Complete Dentistry, and we want to make getting the answers you need easy. Check out our FAQs below and give us a call if you don’t see the answer you’re looking for!
How Can I Find a Dentist Near Me?
There are many dentists in and around the Lakewood area; you can use Google to find one that’s located near your home. Of course, while location is an important factor, there are other variables to consider as well. For example, does the practice in question take your dental plan or offer the treatments you’re looking for, like dental implants? Our practice offers comprehensive dentistry and accepts Delta Dental, Guardian, certain Humana plans, and a variety of other insurance providers; if you belong to one of these plans, you can save money on your dental care by choosing our office.
How Do I Determine the Best Dentist for My Family?
In addition to considering insurance, location, and similar details, you also need to think about your family’s dental needs. Some might only need routine checkups, others might require periodontal treatment for gum disease, and some might even need to have their teeth replaced with dentures.
Do All Dentists See Kids?
Not all practices accept child patients. In fact, many specify that they only see patients over a certain age. At Lakewood Complete Dentistry, though, we’re happy to see all kinds of children, from toddlers to teenagers! The advantage of having a practice that accepts patients of all ages is that your little ones can continue visiting us for great care even after they’ve reached adulthood. We’ll go above and beyond in making sure your child feels comfortable and safe at our office during their routine appointments.
Do You Offer Same-Day Appointments?
Yes, same-day appointments are available for patients who need urgent care. This includes dental emergencies such as knocked-out teeth and severe, persistent dental pain. When you call us describing symptoms that require urgent attention, we can arrange for an appointment as soon as possible. It’s generally better to call a dental office instead of the emergency room for a (non-life threatening) dental emergency since a dentist is more likely to have the training and equipment to deal with issues affecting the teeth and gums.
