Dr. Vincenzo Artino wanted to make Lakewood Complete Dentistry a truly special dental office and to do that, he needed to put together an exceptional team. That’s why he took the time to hand-select a group of dental hygienists, assistants, and administrators he trusts to deliver truly world-class care. With them, scheduling will be easy, your questions will be answered promptly, and your financial options will be clearly explained. To start getting to know our wonderful team, read below.
Rachel – Dental Hygienist
Originally from Pomfret, MD, Rachel studied at Allegany College of Maryland. Although she is relatively new to our team, she brings more than a decade of experience with her. When asked about her favorite part of her job, she shared that it is her amazing coworkers! In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, camping, hiking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, hunting, and, of course, spending time with loved ones. One thing you may not know about her is that she made the move to Colorado all by herself – amid a global pandemic, too.
Chad – Dental Hygienist
For more than two decades now, Chad has spent his days helping patients achieve optimal oral hygiene. In fact, assisting those who have suffered from periodontal disease is one of his favorite aspects of his job! For his studies, he attended Ft. Lewis College, Metro State University, and the Colorado University School of Dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, camping, and riding his Harley Davidson.
Halle, Dental Hygienist
Nothing makes Halle happier than helping a patient achieve their best smile while ensuring they feel right at home in our practice. Her college journey saw her attend the University of Iowa for her undergrad before doing her dental hygiene training at Hawkeye Community College.
When she isn’t going on adventures (like climbing one of the seven summits in Russia with her dad), Halle and her boyfriend often go paddle boarding with their dog, Brinkley, and she also likes to cook and try new restaurants.
Alex – Dental Hygienist
Alex attended the University of Minnesota before completing additional training under a periodontist. She first became interested in dentistry after studying abroad in Mexico—her host father and brother were both dentists. She loves making connections with our patients and helping them feel as safe and comfortable as possible! She is currently going to school training to become a hygienist.
As a Wisconsin native, Alex comes from a cheese-loving, warm-hearted, midwestern family. Outside of dentistry, her interests include going to live music shows, doing paint-by-numbers, watching reality TV, and saying hello to every dog she sees!
Shelby, Social Media/ Aesthetics Coordinator
Shelby is a classic people-person, which makes her a perfect fit for her current role! She loves getting to know someone and listening to their stories.
A graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, Shelby is originally from Bottineau, North Dakota and comes from a large mixed family. You’ll find her thrifting, cooking, taking fitness classes, and hanging out with her fiancé on the weekends. Fun fact: she called Australia home for a year while working as a live-in nanny!
Pamela, Front Office
Pamela has had an amazing 30+ year career in dentistry, making her the perfect person to speak to on the phone or greet you in our office. She has experience as a dental assistant, attending Pickens Technical College, and has her Expanded Functions certification.
Pamela’s life outside of the office is filled with family, including her three adult children, two grandchildren, and four dogs. She is an avid reader and likes to constantly learn, especially when it comes to gardening and natural remedies.
Joanne, Front Office
Joanne joined us in 2024 and likes working directly with our patients so she can get them what they need as quickly as possible. She comes to us all the way from Johannesburg, South Africa! She and her wonderful husband have a very sweet bernedoodle dog and their first baby on the way. They love to travel internationally, try new and delicious foods, lay on beaches whenever possible, ski/snowboard during the winter months, and watch entertaining movies. Fun fact: Joanna attended college on a soccer scholarship!
